I’ve discovered something amazing. However, it’s not that youtube video. It’s something even more amazing. And more than likely, you’re like myself and haven’t heard of it — it’s a TV show called Three Sheets.
I found out about the show when I was having a discussion with one of my friends. He was telling us about how his little brother does not drink alcohol, but was absolutely intrigued with the TV show Three Sheets. The explanation I got was: “It’s a show about this guy who travels around the world and investigates the drinking traditions of each place he visits.” That sounds fun already, right? It was no wonder that this dry, twenty-one year old was so intrigued.
I put out a new version already, because someone found a pretty huge bug I created in my last version. In v1.8, users were unable to drag and drop to the library, graveyard, or exile icons. As well as not being able to chat.
This was caused by my refactoring and trying to move event subscriptions to the designer. I must have missed some events!
Sorry for the problems; however, updating should work now. I hope you have a smooth update experience.
Please report any problems to my support forum: http://emptygee.harryfino.com/phpBB3/index.php
The newest version is available and it’s the best one I’ve released yet. I put a lot of work into trying to clean it up and make it more like a legit program. I’m still working out some kinks, but thats what beta testing is for. Here are the changes:
I haven’t made a post about EmptyGee in a long time, but it still being developed.
In the latest release, I made some nice improvements to the dragging and dropping on the battlefield. You’ll now see an outline of where the card will be dropped, which also works when moving multiple cards. I also added the ability to check for application updates so people don’t need to constantly poll my website for changes (all 2 people lol).
Anyone who has the original iPhone will probably tell you that it’s sitting somewhere on their desk being used as a paper weight. After all, if it doesn’t have a SIM card it’s pretty much useless, right? Every time you turn it on you get that annoying SIM card message. And when you plug it into iTunes you get the same damn message.
That is exactly what was happening with a colleague of mine. His old 2G was sitting around taking up space. Why did I care? Why would I want that paper weight!? I’ll tell you…
I transformed his old iPhone into a nice wireless device for my fiancée to use. Not only that, but because I set it up using my iTunes account, I was able to download all of my paid apps onto it. I no longer have to let her use my iPhone (my precious, precious iPhone) in order to check the weather or look at LOLCats. It’s a win-win situation, imo.
If you’ve ever wanted to share that glorious moment of beating a game, or crushing your friends’ high score, or show a friend a new app you downloaded without having them buy it first, then maybe you’ve needed to take a screenshot on your iPhone.
Its the day before Thanksgiving, and I have a 5 hour drive to Lexington, VA, tonight. All is good though, after having a nice laugh. So I thought I would share with you one of my favorite internet clips:
After watching UFC 104, I knew there was going to be a boat load of people talking trash on the Machida/Shogun decision. And sure enough fighters around the world were saying that “Shogun was robbed”, “he deserves a rematch”, “the judges are blind”, and “it’s simple math.” I must admit, even after I watched the fight the first time I was thinking that Machida was really lucky getting the decision.
My fourth week, my fifth week, my sixth week… all failures. Why failures after all the progress I’ve been making? I think it all started with my knee being injured. I guess I ran too much one day and my body didn’t like it. I decided to give it some time off. Next thing I know my time off started to snowball – work got in the way with business trips, and then Sara got sick, then me… next thing I know it’s race time. I was no where near prepared for it and decided to bail.
The lesson I learned was to not go too far when you know you’re prone to a particular injury. Stick with what you know and what works for you.
For now, I’m back to the home gym… away from the pavement. Amen.
